The Gilded Herbarium 6 - Resort

A feathery cedar-like branch cascades downward in soft relief, its layered fronds catching delicate shadow across the pale gray panel. The gilded frame lends quiet formality to the naturalistic, weeping form. Fine textural detail along each frond gives the sculpture a sense of movement despite its stillness. The drooping composition captures a gentle, melancholic grace within a simple botanical study.
