The Gilded Herbarium 5 - Resort

A slender branch of narrow, pointed leaves stretches diagonally across the panel, each leaf catching soft shadow in delicate low relief. The gilded frame adds warmth against the cool gray plaster, giving the botanical study a quiet formality. Fine detailing along the leaf veins lends the sculpture a lifelike, naturalistic touch. Simple and elegant, the piece reads like a classical herbarium specimen cast in stone.
