Shadowplay 4 - Resort

A rider sits atop a slender, elongated horse, one arm raised triumphantly in a gesture of victory or salute. Loose graphite shading and a faintly gridded background give the sketch a sculptural, cubist-inspired weight. The horse's stretched proportions and angular legs echo Picasso's classical equestrian studies. Motion and pride combine in a figure poised between myth and modern abstraction.
