Shadowplay 1 - Resort

A muscular minotaur-like centaur figure strides forward, spear in hand, its human torso topped with a horned bull's head. Rendered in soft graphite shading, the hybrid form recalls Picasso's mythological studies of beasts and men. The muted gray tones and loose cross-hatching give the figure weight and classical gravity. Part myth, part motion, the drawing captures raw physical power in quiet, sculptural stillness.
